Greetings from Maggie Valley North Carolina!

Dreams do come true, my wife Cheryl and I have experienced it! For 20 plus years we traveled to the mountains of North Carolina vacationing and each time we came, we would look at property and day dream about "moving to the mountains". Some years ago, while on a weekend trip, we took the first step and bought a piece of property on a beautiful mountain ridge. We told ourselves that this is where we would retire one day. Then, we took the second step and built our log cabin. The trips increased until we took the third step and moved to the mountains!

After serving 25 years in corporate management and in the oversight of non-profit organizations, I had the opportunity to become part of what I believe to be one of the finest teams of realtors in this area. I did not come to the mountains to retire, as I thought I would, but I have come to work and I would love to work for you!

Many people are drawn by the friendly folks, the picturesque surroundings of gentle creeks, rushing rivers, waterfalls, farm land and the breathtaking views of the Great Smoky Mountains, as we were. My hope is that if you are being drawn "to the mountains" that you will allow me to show you the real estate opportunities that are available.

Cheryl and I enjoy riding our ATV on a regular basis through the mountains where we live. We love every season here and the peacefulness that comes from living here. We enjoy sharing it all with our daughter, Amber and our son-in-law, Kenneth and our two precious grandchildren, Hannah and Noah.

My hobbies include building stringed instruments as well as playing the guitar, mandolin and dulcimer. There is nothing like sitting on the front porch playing an instrument in the midst of the mountains!

I am a licensed Real Estate Broker and the Broker In Charge at MVP. I am a member of the North Carolina Association of Realtors, the Western North Carolina MLS and the Haywood County and National Associations of Realtors. I also hold a Master of Theology, Master of Divinity and Doctor of Ministry.
